Experience the natural world up close and personal at the Land Between the Lakes Woodlands Nature Station. You can gaze a great horned owl, see slithering snakes, howl with a coyote and view the elusive red wolf. Canoe trips, story time programs and Critter Day are just a few specialties offered.
- Open Wednesday-Sunday: March and November from 10am-to-5pm
- Open Daily: April-October from 10am-to-5pm
- Closed: Thanksgiving Day and December-February
- Cost: Ages 13 and up; $5
- Cost: Ages 5-12; $3
- Cost: Ages 4 and under; Free

The Nature Station offers various programs filled with fun every day they're open to assist in learnign about animals and wildlife habitats, native to the Kentucky Lake and Western Kentucky area. Call to find out what they will feature each day: 270-924-2299.
About the Woodlands Nature Station
The Nature Station also rents canoes and kayaks from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Ask at the Nature Station front desk about rentals. Additionally, several scenic hiking trails embark from our Woodlands Nature Station.
The Forest Service partners with Friends of Land Between The Lakes to bring you the interpretive programs, wildlife care, and trained naturalists at the Nature Station. Nature Station Gift Shop supports these efforts.
